Yemi Alade Wore An OTT Ankara Romper Dress At Her Music Concert in Germany

 

Yemi Alade is going places with her musical tour and in each show, we are bound to see a fresh new Ankara style. 

Since her African Baddie Tour began in May, each show promises unforgettable fashion highlights. The tour, starting in Nebraska, USA, and now in Europe, sees Yemi consistently showcasing her unique fashion sense with lasting impressions.

On Sunday, August 6th, the African Baddie, celebrated for her energetic shows and uplifting words, performed in the Mülheim city of Germany. Her vivacious presence left fans, including us, craving more. But it wasn’t just the dance-worthy Afrobeats, the 34-year-old “Single & Searching” singer caught our collective gaze with her fashion-forward choice.

For the concert, Alade wore what looks like a romper dress crafted with blue Adire prints. The vibrant look features a cape-like bodice with a high neck, alongside a nude-toned corset embellished with pearls that formed a connection with the bottom of the dress. 

Complementing her outfit were nude fishnet tights paired with white block-heeled sandals. Her accessories were minimal, consisting of large chandelier earrings and a bracelet. Also, known for her unique hairstyles, the singer styled her braided hairstyle into a top knot, showcasing the versatility of African hair.

Having once dubbed herself ‘Mama Africa’, Yemi is undoubtedly one of Africa’s most fashion-forward stars, particularly when it comes to incorporating African prints into her wardrobe. Thus, it was no surprise to see the singer confidently wearing this chic Adire romper.

Per the singer, she’s falling hard over the fabulous creation. “I Can’t Get over This Adire Custom fit💙 adorned with pearl’s,” Alade captioned the look on Instagram.
