Ejiro Amos Tafiri’s SS16 Collection Was Inspired By Stained Glass Of Catholic Cathedrals And Is So Good

We always rely on Ejiro Amos Tafiri for polished collections that are finished with contemporary details — be it summer, winter or holiday pieces. But in her latest collection, the designer took inspiration from the stained glass windows of Catholic Cathedrals, infused with the traditional dress styles of Rev Sisters, Fathers, Monks and Alter boys. Thankfully we have a look at the entire collection and is full of pieces every fashion girl is sure to fall in love.

With hand painted lace fabrics, crepe, printed silk, and chiffon, there is an abundance of dresses in an assortment of silhouettes and there are undeniably cool. But of course, our favorite pieces has to be the fact that her danshiki silhouettes were adorned with butterfly detail which added a touch of sophistication.
