Nomzamo Mbatha was clearly out there to slay at the BET Awards last night. Whether it was in real life or digital, the South Queen media gal made her entrance proving she was not there to play games. The actress and humanitarian took to social media this morning to give fans a glimpse of her look for the Black entertainment’s biggest night.
Mbatha who moved to the US last year wore a navy blue dress to join the throngs of A-listers who participated in the annual event which was held virtually due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.
The 29-year-old stuck to her usual sexy and glamorous theme and also kept the look above par. She went for a mini take on the bustier dress, channeling the belle of the ball vibes all at once.
“There is no glory in playing small,” Mbatha captioned one of the photos. “Constantly trying to lessen yourself, when in fact all that you should be full of is you. Overflowing in every sense. We can only give what we have and what we are. So this is me. Giving light, giving love, giving fullness… giving black. ♥️ Thank you for having me @bet @bet_africa #BETAwards.”
The actress’s outfit included a longbow and silver detailing, complete with hoops earrings, and barely-there sandals. She raised the beauty stake with subtle makeup and a soft pink eyeshadow, while her short hairdo added a wow effect to the overall look.
