Rihanna is now a mom!
She has given birth to her first child — a baby boy — with boyfriend A$AP Rocky.
The Fenty Beauty founder welcomed the baby on 13th March, according to a report by TMZ today. While the news is still sketchy, the platform affirmed the news is from “sources with direct knowledge” of the couple. But however, the name of the baby is still under wraps.
The last time Rihanna was seen in public was earlier this month in Los Angeles, where she spent quality time with Rocky during the Mother’s Day weekend.
However, a source who spoke with PEOPLE confirmed the singer and her rapper boyfriend are home with the baby in Los Angeles. “Rihanna is doing well,” the source told the media house, adding that the new parents are delighted. “They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom.”
The source continued: “Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own time table, and having a baby is no different,” the source said, adding that Rihanna and Rocky were over the moon about their baby on the way. “They’re just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”
When the “Diamond” singer revealed her pregnancy in January, the internet was abuzz with her baby bump baring photos. She continued to make headlines after living up to her style icon status, showcasing her inimitably cool maternity style that many deemed unconventional. As per the supper star, she was paving the way for a new age in maternity dressing as society doesn’t see pregnancy as sexy.
