For those of you who keep up with Linda Ikeji, she’s no stranger when it comes to lavish spending on designer wardrobe items. Her closet is filled with big fashion labels like Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Gucci, Prada, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, and the list goes on and on. But you might be mistaken if you thought the flamboyant blogger has hit the peak of her buying impulse.
She just turned 40th today and for the birthday celebration, Linda Ikeji went insanely big, extravagance, and unapologetic, gifting herself with 85 pairs of designer shoes and 35 handbags (yes, you heard that right). The mom-of-one revealed the news on Instagram this morning while showcasing the coveted leg and hand candy.
“OK, let’s do this! Hehe. Surrounded by my birthday present from myself to myself,” Linda captioned the photos as she surrounded herself with her latest acqusition. “I was going to buy 40 designer shoes to celebrate turning 40 and then I started shopping and couldn’t stop! 😭😭. Too many beautiful shoes to select from so I ended up buying 85 pairs…😂😂. (80 in the pic, 5 on da way). And yes, I bought all of them at the same gaddam time! 😭😭. Who does that? 😳😳, ME, that’s who! 🤣🤣🤣. I’m so grateful, so thankful, so happy! Happy birthday to me! 🤩🤩🤩. P.S, These photos don’t do the shoes justice.”
She also posted similar photos of her handbags with a beaming smile on her face. According to the 40-year-old, she bought all the bags at the same time but however, asked God for forgiveness over her extravagant spending.
“Ok, here we go again..lol. Surrounded by my birthday present from myself to myself.” Linda continued. “I was going to buy 40 new designer bags to celebrate turning 40. And then I started buying…and well, these bags are bladdy expensive so I stopped at 35 😅😅. (32 in the photo and 3 on da way). And yes, I bought them all at the same gaddem time! 😭😭.”
She added, “Dear God, forgive me! 🤣🤣🤣. But money is meant to be spent, right? 😜. I know I’m one of the lucky ones and I dont take my blessings for granted. Happy birthday to me!”

But as if this isn’t enough for Linda, she also added a new whip to her birthday portfolio — cool 2020 Range Rover Autobiography, leaving us all in overdrive.
Linda has been spending time with her son, Jayce, and recently celebrated the toddler’s 2nd birthday in designer wears. In the accompanying photo which she shared today, the mom and son are twinning in a white Burberry shirt and black pants.
