Model Adut Akech Celebrated Her 23rd Birthday in Pink and You Didn’t Know

As one of the sought-after models of the century, Adut Akech’s birthday is one we can hardly miss.

The Senegalese-Australian model is a runway favorite who has literally walked all the biggest fashion shows of her time. She’s also fronted major campaigns for luxury labels including Valentino, Givenchy, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Moschino, Bottega Veneta, and H&M, just to name a few. So it’s easy to see why we hardly miss celebrating the black beauty.

Adut Akech turned 23 on Christmas day (December 25, 2022) and while she celebrated her 22nd birthday with friends on a luxury beach in Mexico last year wearing a black G-string bikini, this year the model kept things relatively low-key with just a chic photo-shoot in a garden.

She shared the photos with friends and fans on Instagram four days ago where she beamed and glowed in a 2-piece pink ensemble. The 23-year-old model wore a thin strap bandeau and maxi skirt in baby pink, while also carrying a bouquet of flowers in the same hue. As for her Christmas hairstyle, the South Sudanese-Australian beauty stayed true to the protective hairstyle as she opted for gorgeous waist-length box braids.

She was also celebrated by her ‘fashion mother’ Naomi Campbell, who shared a beautiful photo of the two them, along with a sweet birthday message.

“#Happy Birthday to my other daughter @adutakech ,I can’t believe 7 years have flown by , from when I first saw and met you ..,” captioned the 52-year-old supermodel. “SO PROUD OF THE LADY YOU HAVE BECOME. This came a few days after the model took to social media to show off her model boyfriend, Samuel Elkhier, while celebrating his birthday with some cool love-up photos. In the series of images, Akech, who parted ways with her Nigerian boyfriend, singer Runtown in July 2021, appeared to have found love again. As per the model, Samuel Elkhier is her “high school sweetheart” and they’ve known each other for eight years. More details also reveal that the pair has already been engaged.
