Adesua Etomi and Banky W are celebrating a marriage milestone.
The Nigerian actress and her singer-turned-politician marked their seventh wedding anniversary yesterday, with Banky W (real name Olubankole Wellington) sharing a loving tribute in honor of the occasion.
The sweet video montage, which was soundtracked by Anson Seabra’s “Welcome to Wonderland,” included several moments of the couple bonding together, including Etomi’s pregnancy journeys for their two sons, plus most of her chic and goofy maternity snapshots.
“Thank you for choosing me, 7 years and counting. Thank you for being my heart and building our home and family,
I love you now, always, and eternally.,” Banky W captioned the video on social media.
As if the loving clips weren’t enough; Banky reflected on the emotion-induced soundtrack, reminiscing how his wife has made him a better man, and of course, reassuring the “Sugar Rush” actress of his committed love for many years to come.
“The first time I heard this song, I thought of you and the world we are creating for our boys,” Banky added.
“I was always a bit nervous about becoming a husband and a father, but you make it easy. I’m a better man because you chose me. I’m a greater man because you love me. We don’t have it all figured out, but we don’t need to – because we’ve got each other and we’ve got Christ at the center. In Jesus’ name, nothing will ever break our 3-fold cord. Here’s to the next 43 years or more, until eternity and beyond.”
The couple and their children are currently in the US—3 months after he announced that he’s relocating to pursue his Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Adesua and Banky started dating in 2016 after a year of friendship. They later engaged in February 2017 and walked the aisle on November 25 of the same year.
