Considering the comfort and its versatility, if there’s one piece of clothing women can’t get enough of, it has to be leggings. And given that the trend has returned with full force, leggings not only appears essential but a must-have item. In the past months or so, we’ve seen celebrities dressing them up or down and jumping from left to right, and even on local streets, girls wears them like the activewear have no purpose. But these aren’t the point. You probably care less about the fact they are not really pants, they stretch out way too quickly, they reveal your cellulite and of course, show off your butt (when in see-through) — but we want to remind you to take the following 2 details very serious.

It shows off your camel toe with no regard. Truth be told, wearing leggings without a long top that covers your front bottom definitely gives an eyeful of your camel toe.
Leggings might be the filthiest item of clothing in your closet when it comes to health issues. From causing bacterial vaginosis to fungal infections like ringworm, the health problems contributed by leggings cannot be overemphasized. Because most women wear leggings without underpants, a lack of good legging hygiene can throw off the balance of bacteria which can lead to an overgrowth of infection-causing bacteria. 
More so, when wearing leggings, you have to worry about the friction it causes on your skin as it can lead to chafing of the skin, says Dr. Joshua Zeichner, an assistant professor of dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
 As a sidenote, don’t walk around all day in sweaty leggings (sometimes give it a break) — although it can be dressed up or down, but there are best suited for the gym.
