Ebuka Obi-Uchendu’s Fashion for BBNaija 10 is Inspired by Oliver De Coque

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has long earned his status as one of the best-dressed men in Africa, and for BBNaija Season 10, he took things to another level. His fashion choices aren’t just about looking good, but the Nigerian media figure celebrates Nigerian legends and connects fashion to cultural memory. 

Known for his precision and flair, the media personality kicked off the season on the 26th of July, 2025, with a trio of bold, thematic outfits. But just when fans thought they’d seen the full extent of his brilliance, Ebuka delivered another unforgettable fashion moment; this time channeling the legendary Oliver De Coque.

In the photos shared on Instagram on the 4th of August, Ebuka paid homage to the late highlife maestro through a look steeped in Igbo tradition and musical legacy. 

He wore a sleeveless maroon tunic with circular, patterned designs over matching loose-fit trousers. A fur-like material draped over his left arm added a regal texture, while coral beads and a red traditional cap firmly rooted the look in Eastern Nigerian heritage. And in his hand, he carried a traditional fan called Akupe.

Modern accessories like a silver bracelet and dark round-framed sunglasses balanced tradition with Ebuka’s signature edge. It was more than a costume; it was a moment of stylish reverence. 

This tribute followed his earlier looks from the BBNaija Season 10 launch, where he effortlessly blended fashion with nostalgia. 

And finally, the Edo-inspired traditional look, a richly detailed tribute to Nigeria’s first finance minister, Chief Festus Okotie-Eboh, rounded out the series. Each look carried its own message, and collectively, his fashion choices showed just how intentional Ebuka’s styling has become this season. 

On Instagram, fans were quick to notice the thought behind the styling.
