You Won’t Believe How Much This Iconic Bikini Was Sold at Auction

The iconic metallic bikini worn by Princess Leia in Star Wars – “Return of the Jedi” just sold at auction for a whopping $96,000. Apparently, we’re wondering why the buyer would spend such a huge sum of money on a Bikini. With $96,000 I’m surprised she didn’t buy the whole Victoria’s Secret 2015 collection.

One thing’s for sure, the bikini is iconic with high value – but as BBC reported, Carrie Fisher who wore the two-piece in the movie never liked it – she called it “what supermodels will eventually wear in the seventh ring of hell.”

For our part, there will be no water in hell that would require supermodels to wear bikinis. But that aside, we like the look but is not enough to spend $96,000.
