According to reports, names like Ruald Rheeder, Stefania Morland, Suzaan Heyns, Fabiani, Khosi Nkosi, Tart, Augustine, KL Tsotetsi, Samantha Constable, Nhlanhla Nciza, Scalo and Shana will feature their latest Autumn/Winter 2015 collections at the event.

Speaking about the new line-up, Sizwe Nzimande, a spokesperson at the event’s organiser African Fashion International (AFI), said, “We want to provide the international fashion community with a glimpse into the unique and innovative nature of African design and creativity.”

“At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Joburg 2015, our primary focus will be fostering the creative independence of talented new artists emerging from South Africa, and providing retail opportunities for these designers within a global consumer-base,” Nzimande further added about MBFWJ’s primary goal to promote budding talents.

Models from South Africa, Ghana, Barbados, USA, Jamaica, Nigeria, Angola, Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Russia and Uganda will walk the runway in collections from S.A’s top designers.

In addition to the runway show, there is also a conference, which features a series of talks to give young designers business advice and tips. [via Sleeping-out]
