When it comes to celebrities who loves pet, Lady Gaga cannot be left out. French bulldog has finally scored her first magazine cover. She appears with her human Lady Gaga on the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, peering out over the top of a very fabulous Chanel bag. All the other celebrity dogs can sit down now, because Asia just cemented her status as the Choupette of the canine world.
According to Cosmo, the accompanying article, Choupette’s owner Karl Lagerfeld speaks to Lady Gaga about celebrity pet ownership, and it’s as delightfully crazy as you could possibly want it to be. “Since my Choupette is the most famous cat on the Internet, and your Asia is the most famous dog on the Internet, should they meet?” asks Karl. The correct response to this question is, “Duh, yes,” but Gaga was slightly more polite, saying, “They most certainly must meet! Asia is very sweet and calm. She would be very gentle with Choupette.” Make. This. Happen.
Gaga also explained that she and Asia “have a very special bond,” and that she “talks a lot with her big, beautiful eyes.” Like most dogs, Asia “loves belly rubs,” and Gaga says she is a “very romantic and loving animal.” If Asia could speak, she would probably be like, “Sure, whatever. More McQueen jewels, please.”
