H&M Is Set To Start Making Clothes Out Of Poop

This is no April fools jokes or one of those pranks, H&M will be making clothes out of cow poop as part its dream to be 100 percent sustainable by 2040. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard such inventive news, two months ago, a dress made from recycled polyester was also introduced by the fast-fashion Swedish brand.

This time around, the brand will utilize cow manure to churn out beautiful items of clothing. According to the report, “H&M has invested in a wide variety of inventive products that are more environmentally conscious, including something people are calling “poop fabric.” The idea behind it is to convert the cellulose found in cattle dung into a hardy fabric, and as Cosmopolitan pointed out, “the rest of the poop — the part not used to make clothing — helps fuel the entire creation process.” Inventive right? Though the inventor Jalila Essaidi has stylized the poop name as Mestic, to make it sound appealing, scroll down and watch the video to see it in action.
