The lifestyles of the Kardashian/Jenner family has no doubt influenced millions of young women across the world and that can be evidenced in the life of a 16-year-old high school student Faith Thigpen. At a glance, Faith’s makeup screams the Kardashian and so does her prom jumpsuit.
For her school big day which was Gatsby-themed, the teen girl went for a daring custom-made jumpsuit designed by Angel Brinks. Like the typical Kardashian favorite, the dress featured heavy embellishments and sparkling stones depicting one of those Balmain’s creation.
According to Faith who spoke with Yahoo Style, she was inspired by the Kardashians after seeing the clothes they wore to Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday party in 2015. “My mom and I saw pictures from the Kardashians’ Gatsby-themed blinged-out party, and we were immediately inspired,” she told Yahoo Style. Faith also gave a clue of how long the striking jumpsuit was made. “It took me approximately five hours to get ready for the complete look.” adding that, “She never actually saw the whole thing until that night. Once I finally looked in the mirror at myself, I was lost for words and almost in tears.”
Meanwhile, looking at the jumpsuit, it bears a strong resemblance to Kylie Jenner’s 2016 Met Gala dress. Seen any similarities?
