As the world eagerly awaits the release of her latest film “Challengers,” Zendaya has been gracing us with a series of stunning fashion moments during her press tour. The actress has been serving up some major style inspiration, showcasing her love for bold and vibrant looks, and yesterday was an ode to the spring season.
For her appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Zendaya opted for a stunning yellow and green floral dress from Erdem’s FW24 collection. The dress, adorned with hand-painted green brush strokes, was a visual delight that exuded the freshness and vibrancy of spring.
With a touch of retro flair reminiscent of the 1950s, the dress featured tulle accents that added extra volume and whimsy to the ensemble. She paired the look with pristine white Louboutin pumps and sparkling Bulgari jewels while maintaining her glamorous old Hollywood waves and side-parted locks.
After her appearance on Good Morning America, she changed into yet another show-stopping outfit — this time donning a vintage Mugler neon-green, tennis ball-colored set consisting of a knee-length pencil skirt and a fitted plunging blazer.
Per her stylist Law Roach, the look was sourced from the vintage retailer Arsenic and Old Lace Vintage, in which the 27-year-old swapped out her white heels for a pair of matching green shoes, tying the entire look together with a cohesive color palette. Her recently dyed locks styled with glamorous, old Hollywood waves also added more vintage glamour to the ensemble.
During her time on Good Morning America, Zendaya spoke about her role in “Challengers” and the significance of having tennis legends Venus and Serena Williams watch the film. She also described the Williams sisters as her inspiration while growing up.
“What I knew of tennis before going into this film was really them; that was really my only understanding of the sport mostly growing up and seeing their influence in my life and in the world, really,” she shared. “I guess I just, like you said, I have inspiration from them in my life. You know, all that they’ve accomplished and continue to do. But it was an honor to have them, not just see the movie, which was terrifying by the way, ’cause we were talking about, like, it’s hard to fake it, right? Like, tennis is an incredibly difficult sport, and I was so nervous for them to see it because, I mean, hello, like, you know what I mean? So, I’m fingers crossed it wasn’t too bad for them to watch our tennis skills.”
