Yemi Alade regularly impresses us with her style and the singer’s latest outfit is seriously noteworthy. As you already know, Ankara dress is one of our favorite things, so you can imagine how much we’re swooning over her dress.
Yemi took to Instagram to share the new photos she took after her rendition of the Nigerian national anthem for Coca-Cola Nigeria a few days ago, which features Tuface Idibia, REMA, and produced by Cobhams Asuquo.
In the sleek snaps, Yemi is dressed in a beautiful red Ankara dress with exaggeratedly puffy leather sleeves. The singer paired the incredibly avant-garde look with spikey earrings, full face makeup, and bold red lips. Her hair was styled into an updo and loose down.

Earlier last month in September, Yemi released the music video for her “True Love” single, which she highlighted the beauty of African prints. In the video, the hitmaker draped herself including her entire dance crew in a vibrant blue Ankara dress. Since then, the music video has recorded over 2.8 million views and counting.
