Stephenie Linus Wears A Sharp White Blazer And Floral Dress In Washington D.C

 

Stephanie Linus is lending a polished workwear tip for Spring dressing, showing why she is quickly becoming a style star. 

As part of the campaign to eradicate fistula, the actress was in the US to advocate for improved Global Health for women and girls. Sponsored by Pathfinder International, Catalyst Global Strategies, UNFPA, and her nonprofit organization, Linus spoke passionately about how fistular is affecting young girls, especially in Africa due to lack of good healthcare. 

For the event, the UNFPA ambassador wore an off-white knee-length dress adorned with gold floral appliques, which she layered under a white polished blazer. Stephanie accessorized her look with bright yellow heels, gold earrings, and a pair of glasses, while a opting for a short bob and a subtle makeup look.

“I was a featured speaker at a briefing at the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., to advocate for improved Global Health for women and girls,” the Nollywood veteran shared on Instagram, adding that the event “highlighted how U.S. government-supported global health programs improve the lives of women and girls in the developing world in ways that extend beyond improving health outcomes.”

She continued: “As a UNFPA Regional Ambassador and founder of the Extended Hands Foundation, I discussed my work with several gender-based awareness and intervention projects worldwide. I led a discussion on how lack of healthcare access and overlapping areas of inequity keep girls out of school, limit educational opportunities, and keep them from living the lives they choose.”
