Stephanie Linus Makes The Long Pleated Skirt Look Chic

When it comes to the pleated skirt, here at Fashion Police Nigeria we can’t get enough of the stuff.

So you can imagine how much we’re swooning over the outfit Stephanie Linus is rocking here. Between the midi length of her skirt, the banded high waist, and pleated detailing teamed with a white camisole and blazer, it’s the stuff of our dreams.

The actress had us staring for all the right reasons when she shared the photos on social media after stepping out for an official engagement yesterday. We are loving the polish look, which is complemented perfectly with a top handle bag and block heels court shoes; meanwhile, the romantic crimson red lipstick added a pop of color.

“You strutting with no cares- knowing that confidence is the new beauty, that expensive perfume that allures people towards you,” the actress captioned the photo. “You stoop to conquer your fears and the ones you can’t- you leave at the door. Flip your clothes or hair and say -NExT Plz! God’s got your back – challenge yourself like you’ve never done before.”

As the Lagos state ambassador for Hygiene First and the 2020 Lagos State Tree Planting Day Campaign, the actress has been busy promoting tree-planting across the state for a better environment.

“There is a clear and pressing need to address air quality for human health, welfare and economic development,” she wrote while posting the campaign video. “Poor indoor and outdoor air quality are responsible for more than 500,000 deaths in Africa each year, with an estimated cost of $500 billion. With over half of the projected 2015-2050 global population growth occurring in Africa, and an increasingly urbanised population this is set to rise further.”

There is a clear and pressing need to address air quality for human health, welfare and economic development. Poor indoor and outdoor air quality are responsible for more than 500,000 deaths in Africa each year, with an estimated cost of $500 billion. With over half of the projected 2015-2050 global population growth occurring in Africa, and an increasingly urbanised population this is set to rise further. There are about 12 million cars in Nigeria. In Lagos alone, with an estimated population of 22 million people, there are about 5 million cars and 250,000 commercial vehicles. An average light car emits about 182 grams of carbon dioxide per Kilometre. A typical hardwood tree can absorb as much as 22,000 grams of carbon dioxide a year, which is about 60g of carbon dioxide per day. Basically, planting trees and plants helps to eradicate carbon dioxide which in turn cleans the air and gives good health. So what are you waiting for? Let’s Plant Trees for Life. …xoxo 💋❤️-SL #TreePlantingDay
