Rihanna Goes To Milan Fashion Week With Her Baby Bump

Rihanna is currently over in Milan, for which she touched down with her baby bump and boyfriend A$AP Rocky. And while she was there for the fashion week, the mom-to-be seized the opportunity to put her statement maternity style on display.

Photographed during Gucci’s fall 2022 show on Friday, RiRi brought all she’s got in the sassy stakes. She wore a black latex crop top underneath a fuzzy lavender fur coat from the Italian fashion house’s pre-fall 2022 collection. Yes, the focus was on the big belly as the superstar singer adorned it with a long, neck chain that swings around the baby bump. 

She also teamed the outfit with matching black pants from the same collection, which features a red dragon decal on one leg. A dramatic gold headpiece atop her head, purple eyeshadow, and red lipstick completed the glowing look.

Rihanna however switched her look later in the day and slipped into a black mini dress layered under the same purple coat. Her hair was in voluminous curls and while she coordinated her eyeshadow with the coat, her red lips were switched for the darker shade.

In a recent interview with People earlier this month, the 34-year-old expressed her view on pregnancy fashion, saying it’s “fun” but also “a challenge.”

“I like it. I’m enjoying it,” she said. “I’m enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy. If I feel a little chubby, it’s like, whatever! It’s a baby!”

She continued, pointing out the confidence that comes with it. “Right now, being pregnant, some days you just feel like, ‘Ugh, I just want to lay here on this couch all day,’” But when you put on a little face and a little lipstick, you transform. You put some clothes on, and it’s like, when you look good, you feel good. I’ve heard that for a very long time, but it’s true. It really can get you up off that couch and make you feel like a bad bitch.”
