It’s true that Yemi Alade lost the Best International Act Africa to south African star, Black Coffee at the 2016 BET Awards, but it was her look to the show that was more important to us. The singer was quite the vision in a fantastic dress from Zuhair Murad’s 2016 Resort Collection that really made her stole the limelight in a way that nobody could ignore.

Of course the singer is not a regular red carpet star, but she opted for what was best for her: a modest breezy dress inspired by the rainbow, that was both elegant and glamorous. Her makeup was subtle and her hair was styled in a typical Yemi Alade’s hairstyle.
