Tyla Brought Some Y2K Glam in Unexpected Co-Ords and Trendy Headpiece

The glamorous streets of Beverly Hills came alive on Thursday with the spirit of young Hollywood as Variety’s 2025 Power of Young Hollywood rolled out the red carpet for a plethora of rising stars and influential figures in the entertainment industry.

Amongst the attendees, Grammy award-winning singer Tyla stole the spotlight, attracting attention with her bewitching ensemble that beautifully blended nostalgia with modern flair.

True to her bold style, the South African singer stepped out in a Y2K-inspired look, featuring a two-piece ensemble from Palomo’s Resort 2026 collection. 

The light blue co-ord set featured a high-neck crop top with an open front that framed her midriff. She paired it with a matching low-rise mini skirt, designed with a playful bubble hem and a flirty slit that had a black bow, giving the look a hint of contrast and attitude. 

Rather than piling on accessories, she let one statement piece do the talking — an ornate headpiece, touched with delicate black feather-like details, worked seamlessly into her sleek bob and bangs, turning her whole look into a piece of art.

Her diamond studs and dainty rings exuded elegance, and her black open-toed heels grounded the playful mini with just the right amount of edge. Together, it felt both daring and effortless. 

Tyla’s makeup was the perfect complement to her bold Y2K ensemble, featuring a sharp winged eyeliner accented by a delicate wash of blue shadow at the inner corners for a hint of unexpected color. She finished her beauty look with glossy nude lipstick to balance the understated glam.

The Variety 2025 Power of Young Hollywood party celebrated the new wave of talent and creativity in Hollywood, marking a special occasion for young entertainers and influencers. Tyla’s stylish entrance was not merely a fashion statement but a testament to her influence in today’s cultural landscape. This comes a week after she flaunted the Nike Air Max Muse Fall 2025 campaign, wearing an oversized pleated black high-neck jacket and coordinated shorts, as she posed up a storm for the camera.
