Toke Makinwa Stuns Again, Wins Best Dressed at Future Face Africa 2024
Toke Makinwa has proven once more why she’s a force to reckon with in the fashion world! The media personality and entrepreneur delivered yet another unforgettable red carpet moment.
Toke was crowned the Best Dressed at the Future Face Africa 2024 on Sunday, the 1st of December, 2024, marking her second win at the event, solidifying her status as one of Africa’s most stylish celebrities.

The gown, a sheer, nude-toned creation adorned with intricate blue floral appliqué and mirror-like embellishments, fit her like a second skin, accentuating her figure in all the right ways. The plunging neckline and sparkling details elevated the dress even more.
As if the gown wasn’t enough of a statement, Toke Makinwa added a show-stopping, floor-length jacket to the ensemble. The jacket was crafted in a soft blue fabric with complementary floral and abstract patterns in blue and silver. It swept the floor with every step she took, commanding attention and adding an extra layer of opulence to her look.
Her footwear—a pair of jewel-encrusted open-toe heels—was perfectly in sync with the theme of the night.

Her hair was sleekly styled, parted on the side, and slicked back to give a wet look. To complete her ensemble, she wore a multi-layered choker necklace and chic sunglasses.

“ Best dressed female at the Future Face Africa for the 2nd time 😊. You know I got this 👅🤞😃😜💰Congratulations @elizabeth_elohor on 15 years of giving back and making dreams come true. I had a blast 💥 @futurefaceglobal ”
This is not Toke Makinwa’s first Best Dressed win at the Future Face Africa event. Back in 2017, she wowed the crowd in a golden-yellow sleeveless ball gown by Gert-Johan Coetzee, channeling Belle from Beauty and the Beast. That moment cemented her as a fashionista, and she has only continued to set new benchmarks on the red carpet ever since.

The event gathered a crowd of fashion lovers and industry leaders including Tiwa Savage, Adenike Adeleke (Nikos Living), Idia Aisien, Mo Abudu, and Mariam Timmer, all dressed in the theme of sequins, glitter, and shimmer. Among them, Toke Makinwa was clearly the star of the night.
As the star continues to shine in fashion, there’s no doubt she’ll keep raising the bar, and we can’t wait to see what she does next. One thing is certain: when it comes to fashion, Toke Makinwa never misses.
