Serena Williams is a Vision in a Red Gown at the Princess of Asturias Awards 2025

There was certainly no missing Serena Williams as she stepped out to the prestigious Princess of Asturias Awards held in Oviedo in Spain.

The awards, which honor individuals who have made significant impacts in various fields, recognized Williams for her profound influence and exceptional career in athletics, adding her name to a distinguished list of past recipients that includes celebrated athletes like Lindsey Vonn and Carolina Marín.

For this momentous occasion, Serena opted for a striking ruby-red gown designed by Indian couturier Gaurav Gupta. The gown, characterized by its elegant one-shoulder neckline and intricately draped fabric details, exuded a sense of boldness coupled with timeless elegance. The sculptural design perfectly mirrored Williams’ dynamic personality as both a renowned athlete and a fashion icon.

The look was styled by Kesha McLeod, who accessorized the ensemble with matching pointed-toe heels and minimal jewelry, including a classic watch on one wrist and a delicate bracelet on the other.

The carefully curated accessories highlighted her outfit while allowing her innate beauty to take center stage. Her burgundy nails provided a striking contrast to the all-red ensemble, and fuchsia-tinted lips perfectly complemented the look, harmonizing the color palette beautifully.
