Met Gala might be an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in NYC, but the truth is, it’s a fashion show where the biggest celebrities, designers, and influencers come together to display their sartorial savviness. And considering the theme of this year’s event — “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology,” which explores the relationship between handmade and machine-produced fashion and lent itself to a dress code of innovative and futuristic looks. There was absolutely no disappointment on the red carpet.
