Beyoncé is a major character in the 2019 Disney adaptation of the Lion King, who stars as Nala in the animated classic movie, giving her a special reason to dress up for the movie premiere. Having attended the movie’s L.A. premiere in a jaw-dropping, Alexandre McQueen glittery tuxedo dress last week, the singer arrived the yellow carpet for the U.K premiere yesterday in a daring yellow crepe gown.
The gorgeous bespoke ensemble is from a Vietnamese designer, Nguyen Cong Tri, featuring an off-shoulder neckline, keyhole cut-out, and very high leg slit, which Bey coordinated with her luscious, shoulder cascading brown hair and a matching clutch:
The mother-of-three also joined by her husband Jay-Z, who looked seemingly dapper in a black tuxedo and white shirt.
The event was no doubt a star-studded affair. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were all there, decked out in their finest. While the Duchess of Sussex donned a stunning black Jason Wu dress with long sheer sleeves, looking elegant as ever, the Duke had a twinning moment in a black tuxedo.
But however, it was Meghan meeting with Queen Bey for the first time that really got fans excited. According to reports, the two beloved celebrities exchanged pleasantries and even hugged themselves.

It’s no big surprise why the British royals decided to attend the movie premiere. According to a royal correspondent Omid Scobie, the premiere is in Support of Prince Harry’s animal conservation work.
