Today’s Woman magazine just unveiled its September issue and the cover star is none other than our favorite gal, Linda Ikeji. This marks her first magazine cover in years and was in her honor released on her 36th birthday, which sounds very cool. While everyone might want to read her discussions with the magazine, which she journeyed deeply into her personal life — from the challenges of running the most successful blog in Nigeria, her newly launched media empire, dreams and everything in between, it is the outfit that is catching our attention.
Shot by fashion photographer Tope Horpload and styled by Jane Michael Ekanem, the gorgeous shoot boasts Linda’s uptown chic. She wore a pretty white top and mini ankara pleated skirt, teamed with a pair of matching white heels. And the second outfit? Linda slipped into an all-white look with a pair of swoon-worthy heels. Her hair, makeup was totally on point, even her impeccable posture didn’t hurt.
She told the magazine, “If Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry can post pictures of themselves on their private islands and we are ‘oohing ‘and ‘ahhing’, why not me?” We think so, too. Lest we forget, Birthday Wishes to you — Linda!
