Omotola Jalade gave us just more reasons to fall in love with the little black dress.
The Nollywood icon attended the BET International Nominee Welcome Party on Friday, an event in preparation for the 2022 BET Awards. For the event that took place in Los Angeles, the screen veteran turned to the fail-safe little black dress, sitting just below the knee area to perfectly showcase the actress-toned legs.
Omotola’s LBD combined with some modern touches featuring a round neck and long-sleeves with a ruffled hem. The actress accessorized the look with a matching fur shawl and peep, heel sandals, a silver layered necklace, and oversized hoops earrings while carrying a chained handbag that matched the dress. She also wore her newfound short haircut in greyish-black and sported a blush and a glossy lip.

Dubbed “Culture’s Biggest Night,” the 2022 BET Awards is scheduled for today Sunday night (June 26), and will celebrate the year’s biggest achievements across music, film, sports, and more. The event will be hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson who is returning for her second time, two years in a row, and will feature stellar performances by Lizzo, Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Ella Mai, Chance the Rapper, Ella Mai, Babyface, Chlöe, Doechii, Giveon, Fireboy DML and more.
To watch the show, the 2022 BET is billed to air from 8 p.m. ET. It can also be streamed through Hulu, AT&T TV Now, YouTube TV, Fubo TV, Sling TV, and Locast with free trials and memberships, according to reports.
