Mercy Johnson wasn’t intentionally trying to make a fashion statement when she wore a clingy Ankara dress to her inauguration for her new political role as the SSA to Kogi State Governor. But instead, the dress unavoidably clung to every inch of her incredible figure that ends up turning heads in her direction. That is exactly why we loved her look. She wasn’t overdoing it, just the shapely figure was enough for attention.
Usually, women have different areas they want to emphasize when choosing a dress. Some pretty much concentrate on the shoulder region, while some swear by their legs. For that reason, if there’s one fashion lesson we’ve learned from the actress since January, it’s stick to a clingy dress (aka figure-hugging dress) when you have an hourglass figure and don’t give a damn what anyone says. Completing the look, the actress sported a pair of silver earrings, matching lips and a sleek clutch that probably carried her phones for when the time of selfie calls.
