First Lady Melania Trump’s Military-Inspired Jacket Is Everything

When Michelle Obama was the First Lady, she opened our eyes to different kinds of gorgeous gowns, but Melania Trump’s style seems to be partially gravitating towards military fashion. Just before her inauguration in January, she attended a military ceremony in a custom-made Ferrari stretch-cashmere military coat paired with a coordinating sheath dress and so it’s fair to say the FLOTUS has a penchant for military fashion.

On Thursday while making an appearance for a meet and greet session with Argentine President Mauricio Macri and his wife Juliana Awada at the White House, the FLOTUS was outfitted in a chic military-inspired jacket and a matching skirt Altuzarra Spring 2017, complete with python-print heels.

Judging by the looks, it seems the 47-year-old Slovenian has already mastered military dressing — from her posture to her facial expression, her style exudes military glamour. And we’re particularly in enamored with those oversized breasted pockets.

Military-inspired fashion is a unique fashion trend, so from jackets to shirts, to pants, any pieces will make a fashion statement.
