In what appeared to be her first public appearance a month after welcoming her first child (baby Archie) with Prince Harry, the Duchess of Susexx looks absolutely incredible. She could have been distracted by the cute newborn baby, but yesterday Meghan Markle attended the annual Trooping the Colour festivities with the rest of the royal family to celebrate the Queen’s 93rd birthday.
She of course was pictured riding along with the Duke of Sussex, Kate Middleton, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall in one of the royal carriages, wearing a chic shade of a navy blue dress, complete with a matching hat by Noelle Stewart.
From her numerous royal appearances, she’s always made incredible style choices by names like Carolina Herrera, Alexander McQueen, Emilia Wickstead, Roland Mouret to Dior, and this very smart short sleeve style is no exception. It’s a bespoke creation by Givenchy, and we love the drape shoulder design.
It looks super flattering at a glance, and not only the rich navy shade but the entire look is very reminiscent of the Givenchy look she wore at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding last October.
Her new Givenchy look wasn’t the only reminder of her remarkable style. During her Trooping the Colour debut last year, Meghan also made a serious style statement but at that time, it was in an off-the-shoulder, Carolina Herrera pink dress, teamed with a matching Phillip Treacy fascinator.
