Meghan Markle Chose Victoria Beckham Dress For Commonwealth Day Service

Meghan Markle was not the only Duchess who attended the 2019 Commonwealth Day service yesterday but her style choices were definitely the highlight of the event. She opted to wear Victoria Beckham midi number, which features long-sleeves and all over chain-print embellishment. The clingy fit ensemble perfectly showed off the Duchess baby bump, and when styled with a matching blazer, pillbox hat, and counterbalanced with olive green accessories from the same label, the former Suit actress was looking incredibly fabulous.

Although that turned out to be her second dress of the day as it seemed like the Duchess had a bit of a fashion marathon day. She was previously decked in a coat dress — an avant-garde number by a Turkish-Canadian designer Erdem, which hails from its A/W19 collection. The dark green ensemble came complete with rich thick fabric and black floral appliqués, making it an eye-catching piece.

As a Commonwealth Day service celebrated by Queen Elizabeth II, there was no missing of other members of the royal family. Kate Middleton was also in attendance alongside Prince Willaims. And the lovely Duchess of Cambridge, which we can’t possibly overlook due to her impeccable sense of style, was ultra smashing in red. She was recycling her military-style, Catherine Walker coat dress paired with a matching hat and neutral accouterments.

She reportedly debuted the coat dress in 2014 and we love the midi length, the big collar, and military-inspired pockets. The red hat is a nice addition too.

Held at Westminster Abbey, Commonwealth Day is the annual celebration of the Commonwealth nations and was also attended by UK prime minister, Theresa May.
