Lopez opted for a breathtaking black lace gown designed by Valdrin Sahiti for the premiere. The gown, which was completely embellished with Hassanzadeh jewelry, offered a unique and captivating visual that illustrated a spiderweb design stretching gracefully from her neck to her feet. To combat the winter chill of snowy Utah, the star kept warm in a luxurious white fur coat, perfectly balancing glamour with practicality.

The film is a fresh reimagining of the original stage adaptation created by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Terrence McNally, which itself was based on the 1976 novel by Argentine writer Manuel Puig. The Broadway adaptation received the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1993, and this new film interpretation promises to be an innovative blend of a “textually rich historical and political drama” intertwined with the “flashy technicolor extravagance of an old Hollywood musical.”
