Mercy Aigbe is undoubtedly one of the stylish when it comes to the sartorially savvy women in Nollywood, but is she the most stylish woman in Nigerian showbiz? Of course not! With the likes of Rita Dominic, Genevieve Nnaji, Osas Ighodaro, to name the few – she sure needs a run for her money.
City People Fashion and Beauty Awards, however, has placed Mercy on top of its list as the Most Stylish Female Showbiz Star of the Year 2015, and to us at Fashion Police Nigeria, it’s a false judgement. Was it done based on votes or it was focusing on how someone looks? We’re certainly aware that Mercy Aigbe is stylish, not only does she inspire us with her coordinating outfit style or being among the sartorially significant ladies in the showbiz industry, but we think that title is problematic.
