Hailey Bieber Has Had ‘Some Of The Saddest And Hardest Moments In 2023’

Hailey Bieber may be a top model married to a pop star but she’s also like the rest of us. She has her own highs and lows, and sometimes what we may see on social media isn’t just enough to quantify the reality about an individual.

And yesterday, Hailey Bieber showed up on Instagram to share an emotional story about her life in 2023.

“I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time. But truthfully since 2023 started I have had some of the saddest, hardest moments I’ve ever had in my adult life and my mind and emotions have been fragile to say the least,” the model posted the message on her Instagram Story, adding that other people out there maybe feeling the same way.

“And I know so many other people feel the way I feel, so just know you are not alone.”

Although the message could not point to anything specific that may have caused the model’s unfortunate rough sledding this year, many are speculating about the false narrative surrounding her and Selena Gomez (her husband’s ex-girlfriend), which has caused social media war within their fans. But both Bieber and Gomez have however defended each other on Instagram, asking fans to lay down their weapons.

Hailey wrote:

I want to thank Selena for speaking out, as her and I have been discussing the last few weeks how to move past this ongoing narrative between her and I.

The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this, which is extremely harmful. While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together.

Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they were intended. We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say, including myself.

In the end, I believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion.
