Beyonce has always been a trailblazer when it comes to fashion, and her latest outfit is no exception. The superstar singer performed at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam as part of her Renaissance World Tour on Saturday, making sure her entire wardrobe of the night was in commemoration of Juneteenth.
Taking to Instagram this morning, the Crazy in Love singer revealed on Instagram that everything she wore for the night was created exclusively by Black designers. Beyonce accessorized the crimson-red ensemble with silver cuff bracelets on each wrist and then complete with metallic sandals.
“In honor of Juneteenth, everything I wore for RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR tonight was created exclusively by Black designers,” she wrote on Instagram while sharing a carousel of photos of herself performing at the JC Arena.
Juneteenth is a significant day in American history that symbolizes the end of slavery in the United States. The holiday is celebrated every year on June 19th and is recognized as a day of freedom for African Americans. Beyonce’s tribute to Juneteenth through her wardrobe was truly inspiring, as she highlighted the excellence of Black designers in the fashion industry.
Beyonce is known for championing diversity and inclusivity in every aspect of her work, be it her music, fashion, or other creative projects. Through this gesture, she has once again shown her support for the Black community and her commitment to using her influence to create change.
