Beyonce Gave a Chic Twist to the Barbiecore Trend in an All-Pink Ensemble

She’s a legendary singer and fashionista, having graced our Instagram feeds back-to-back in show-stopping ensembles since the commencement of the Renaissance World Tour, so it’s always fair to say Beyonce knows her stuff when it comes to fashion. No wonder she looked so fab during her Minneapolis Renaissance Tour on Thursday, July 20.

The superstar singer channeled the Barbiecore trend in an all-pink ensemble during the sold-out concert. She wore a fitted metallic corset top with high-waisted shorts and a pair of over-the-knee socks that coincided with her ankle platform boots. The look was layered under a matching cropped jacket and a caped material that flowed to the ground level.

Bey then added to the theme with a pair of oversized pink glasses while her center-parted hair cascaded down her shoulders.

She shared the outfit with other fabulous looks of the night, including a custom Alexander McQueen sheer and metallic creation that mimics the brand’s Fall 2016 naked jumpsuit. The show-stopping, high-neck ensemble featured semi-sheer, netted polka dot material on one side while the other side gave a reference to the cover of her Renaissance album with metallic sequin fabric crafted to look like a horse.

She wore the unexpected number with open-toed, black-heeled sandals along with silver drop earrings.

The “Crazy in Love” singer still has more upcoming shows to round up the Renaissance World Tour. The tour which started in May in Stockholm, Sweden, is scheduled to come to an end on October 1. She’s going to perform tonight for the second time in Chicago’s Soldier Field multipurpose stadium after the last night’s concert that was abuzz by the Beyhive.

Next up is the Detroit, Michigan Renaissance tour on July 26, after which she will shut down New York City on the 29th and 30th of July.
