For those of us who were never existed in the 18th century or thereabout, we’re lucky enough to see the works of photographer James C. Lewis, who recreated the images of famous African Kings. The Kings who fought and conquer a lot of battles also in those days have a peculiar way of donning their attires (some were really into earrings and makeup).

Lewis to took us to the memory lane and enlighten us about the sartorial lifestyle of the ruling kings – from the controversial ruler of the 18th dynasty of Egypt, ancient ruler of the golden empire of Ghana to the king of the Zulu nation during 18th century – is worth knowing really.
