On our quest for grown-up style, we recently caught up with Margaret Gakuo kenyatta – the first lady of Kenya. And to us, it was really amazing to become acquainted with her.
But just because you haven’t seen a million paparazzi snaps of Margaret Gakuo or heard rumors that she’s wearing this today or that tomorrow doesn’t mean the fifty-something hasn’t been quietly ruling in the Kenyan style department or embracing the trend-of-the-moment. It turns out that, when the first lady visited Ghana few days ago, it was the cape dress trend she embraced throughout – proving she’s not only a fan of cape dress, but also loves experimenting the trend-of-the-moment.
