Gucci’s new creative director, Alessandro Michele debut his Fall 2015 collection, and from what we’re seeing , the designer is taking Gucci to a different direction.

His fall collection shows a bit more of summer designs; it features a splash of vintage vibe and a combination of Fall/Summer pieces, from sheer dresses, pleated skirts, floral print pantsuits to fur coat.

According to StyleBlazer, the collection was made for the girl whose closet is comprised of thrift shop finds and family heirlooms that seem to have been in storage for a decade, or two.

For Michele, his goal was to introduce the brand to a new generation of women, and the romantic, vintage vibe for the modern woman that he was trying to achieve came through in only a few of the pieces.  Michele made it clear he was going in a new direction, but he has yet to convince the fashion world it is the right one.
