If I have to choose one item of clothing to wear to a swanky event such as red carpet or any formal event, it would be the perfect ball skirt. Though for many events, there are dress codes that could call for floor-grazing gowns but Rihanna has planted a reminder in my brain that a great article of ball skirt is a fail-safe wardrobe hero that we often ignore.
She looked like a straight stunner at the 2017 Grammys last night when she made a striking entrance on the red carpet, oozing out glamor in every step she made. Her look made the best-dressed on every online publication, even her social media fans couldn’t have enough of it. Yes, it is true the singer has a great eye for fashion and who said ball skirt can’t be as sexy as a form-fitting gown?
The black velvet ball skirt was plugged out from Armani Privé collection alongside her orange sparkly crop top which she finished off with dangling earrings and subtle makeup. Seriously, RiRi’s look was a perfection last night. Scroll on to feel the look yourself:
