We’re counting down to 2015 African Movie Academy Awards with 9 best dressed celebrity in the history of Academy Awards.
The Africa Movie Academy Awards is another version of Oscar on the African scene, and is undoubtedly one of the most glamorous events in African entertainment industry.
Since its debut in 2005, it has been a true celebration of the achievements of some of the biggest African stars of the screen. The 2015 event which is causing a lot of anticipation already is scheduled to take place in South-Africa on 26th September, and we just can’t wait any longer.
In 2012, it was a memorable moment when Nollywood actress and movie producer, Nse Ikpe Etim walked majestically onto the red carpet with confidence looking simply breathtaking. She showed class in her black vintage-inspired ensemble and her elegant hairstyle highlighted her pretty face that was adorned with red lips. The look was innocent, yet striking and sexy and won her hearts all over the fashion crowd.
In that same year, Rita Dominic who never missed her position on the best dressed list turned heads in a beautiful belted pink gown. After a year, Rita stepped out once again for the award show. This time she was wearing a one off-the shoulder gown that totally bought her a page on our lust book. Although a lot of celebrities do turn up for the annual event, but very few are able to make it on this list.
In the years that followed, the likes of Jackie Apia, Uru Eke and Joselyn Dumas all wore some incredible pieces that have landed them in our round-up of the best Africa Movie Academy awards dresses of all time.
