The Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, Davido and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, also known as “Chef Chi,” have sparked immense excitement with the revelation of their upcoming wedding on June 25th, 2024. Davido and Chioma have had a friendship spanning more than two decades before their romantic journey. And, although they might have quietly exchanged vows in private earlier, the two lovebirds are currently gearing up for a lavish celebration of their white wedding ceremony at the Eko Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria.

In early 2023, reports confirmed Davido’s civil marriage to Chioma after years of speculation. The traditional wedding took place on November 6, 2022, at Davido’s father’s residence, attended by a select group of family and friends, with a strict no-camera policy. Shortly after this private ceremony, they welcomed twins in October 2023 in the United States.
A year later, on the S01:E02 of the Bridge podcast in March 2024, Davido opened up on his relationship with Chioma Rowland. He shared that their love story predates his fame and wealth.
