This Bride Snubbed White And Chose This Beautiful Color For her Wedding Gown

When Aisha got married to her husband, Kumi, last weekend, she wore a custom Imani Swank wedding gown with a floor-sweeping train. The dress had lace long sleeves with floral appliques and a glamorous but modest neckline in deference to her Fulani root. But looking into the gown, Aisha chose a complementary nude color which she was deeply relied on for her skin tone and the result was perfection. 

Since we’re always on the hunt for a new color combination, it was hard to ignore the bride who went against the bridal sartorial norm and experimented a refreshing hue, proving white isn’t the only color out there to walk down the aisle. The dress was just a perfect blend with her skin tone and when she completed the look with a subtle makeup, a pair of matching drop earrings and chiffon veil, there is no denying Aisha and her groom tied the knot in style.
