Firstly, Diagnose Your Face Shape:
Ordinally, finding the right sunglasses for your face can be difficult if you don’t know your shape. The easiest way to determine your face shape is to pull your hair back and take a look in a well lit mirror. Most people will be able to determine their face shape without measuring.
Your face is considered oval when the length of your face is equal about 1 ½ times its width, while an oblong face is only slightly longer than it is wide (you can determine this by measuring the span with your fingers).
A square and round face will have equal length and width – a square face will have a more angular jawline and hairline than a round face.
A face is considered heart when there is a narrow jawline with a wider forehead and cheek bones, while a diamond shaped face will have wide cheekbones with a more narrow jawline and hairline that are about equal in width.
At this point, you should be able to determine your face shape. But still, if you can’t figure out where your face shape belong, do not hesitate to ask the lady working in the glasses store.
Oval and Oblong Faces
If you have an oval face, consider yourself lucky! All frame shapes look great on you, but beware of sunglasses that are too narrow for your face. Always choose frames that are at least as wide as the widest point on your face.
