The death of Minneapolis unarmed black man George Floyd, who was lynched by a white policeman continues to fuel protests and outrage in the US. Even the black people in Paris, London, and Auckland and the rest part of the world have joined the protest, demanding racial injustice and inequality. Also on Tuesday, the social media was blacked-out with the hashtag #BlackoutTuesday to raise awareness for the ongoing movement. While the news broke yesterday that all the four police officers involved in the killing of George Floyd were charged (ex-officer Derek Chauvin now faces second-degree murder, while three others face abetting charges), there’s still a lot more to be done.
As the protests continue, one of the best ways to support the Black community right now is to raise more awareness, support black businesses, donate to the bailout fund here, or just wear black. In other to save the time from rummaging the closet for what to wear, we are sharing 12 outfit ideas to wear now in honor of the #blacklivesmatter movement.
