After a great discussion with a fashion editor about ‘what is it like to date a fashion girl?’ To me, dating a fashion girl seems more like dating a celebrity – you don’t get to worry about many things; at the same time, you have to be like Kanye West to successfully date a fashion girl. On the process, I came across this 10 Reasons To Date a Fashion Girl story, only to find out it was written over 12months ago. That being said, I thought I should share my own view about dating a fashion girl:
1. One key benefit dating a fashion girl is that, you’ll never wear an embarrassing outfit again. She makes sure you come to your right fashion sense.
2. She doesn’t missed her morning aerobics no matter how stressed she was the previous day. You know, you must join her to keep fit.
3. You have less to worry about, introducing her to your friends and their spouses. She’ll sure beat them down. Her dress sense speaks elegance, beauty and intelligence. That earns you some respect amongst your colleagues.
4. Dating a fashion girl? Be ready to take selfies everywhere you go (and it’s never your idea).
5. Your mom and kid sister will love her for being trendy.
6. In African setting, your mom and her will have no problem getting along because she’s got all the names of latest gele types and colors (and she knows how to tie them perfectly). Your mom already embraced her to become part of the family. Don’t underestimate the power of fashion.
7. You’re forced to join Instagram, become active even though you don’t like it.
8. You’ll know all the best restaurants around town, because most fashion girls have no time to cook.
9. No more worries about shoppping. She will do all the shoppping for you – and they’re always perfect.
10. Last but not the least, you may end up raising fashion kids just like baby North West and Blue Ivy.
