Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are currently in a celebration mood for an additional member to their family.
The tennis champion and her husband have welcomed their second child, a baby girl with a beautiful name, Adira River. In an Instagram post that was shared on Tuesday, August 22, Ohanian confirmed the exciting news and the name of the baby with a portrait that showcased the family of four.
“Welcome, Adira River Ohanian,” the co-founder of social media site Reddit, captioned the photo. “I’m grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful. @serenawilliams you’ve now given me another incomparable gift — you’re the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter 🙏 I’ll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister.”

Williams also couldn’t contain the joy as she took to TikTok to keep fans updated with the news. “Welcome my beautiful angel,” Williams captioned the touching tribute, which was set to the song “Beautiful” by Bazzi.

Williams and her husband are now blessed with two daughters, five years after the couple welcomed their first child, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., in September 2017.
