Rihanna is no stranger when it comes to making headlines—whether turning up at an event unannounced or dialing up the drama in a jaw-dropping gown and we’re not surprised that she celebrated her new birthday with a bang.
The multifaceted singer turned 32 on Thursday and we learned it was celebrated in the most Rihanna way. There were balloons, colorful flowers, a dinner party, alongside cake cutting, nonstop dancing, and drinking as RiRi, friends, and family partied the night away until daybreak. And because she packed everyone to Mexico to celebrate the big day, mariachis were also there to perform while tequila shots were being circulated.
Meanwhile, from the video posted on Instagram, you could see the birthday gal blowing off the candle on her cake while looking incredible in a white top and a mini skirt.
“Rihanna is having a birthday celebration in Mexico,” a source to E! News. “She invited her friends and family down to celebrate turning 32 with her. They had a dinner party on Wednesday night with dinner and dancing. Everyone was welcomed to the party with a line of mariachis performing and Tequila shots passed around.”
“There were balloon arrangements, colorful flowers, and Mexican decor both indoors and outdoors,” the source continued. “They had a long outdoor table set up for dinner and the mariachis continued to perform.”
