Vera Sidika is synonymous with a posh and luxurious lifestyle. She does things only near-billionaires can do, so you can imagine what she can do when it comes to her baby’s gender reveal.
Vera Sidika and her pop music husband Brown Mauzo literally raised the bar by announcing their baby’s gender via a chopper. You can trust, the showy announcement had the streets of Instagram buzzing with talks. Even before she graced the screens of Real Housewives Of Nairobi, a glimpse into Vera’s life screams luxury. The reality television star embodies gratitude for the good things in life and she’s prepared to go above and beyond to set the tone for whatever she wants. The posh gender reveal party she recently hosted with her family and friends in attendance serves as proof.
In a video released by the RHONairobi star, Sidika arrived at the party wearing a shimmering gold gown with crystals trickling down the dress. The longsleeved custom-made creation featured a cleavage cut-out and perfectly highlighted her figure. The outfit was completed with a tiara signifying her status as the reigning queen of the day. Meanwhile, with her long wavy curls that fell sideways around her neck, plus eye-catching red lips, Sikidika embraced a full-on sophisticated beauty look.
At the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club, she was greeted by close friends and family who were all dressed to the nines. Before the “big reveal,” the facility’s tasteful furnishings and clean lawn worked perfectly to create the ideal ambiance. The open space where they held the party was embellished with lavish details, including soaring floral displays, plush lounge chairs, and good lighting.
However, after some time, a chopper was seen hovering overhead the premises and the expecting parents then stood with their guests, gathered in a large open area a few meters away from the dining area and gesturing at the chopper with yells of “it’s a boy” as it continued to spew what looks like blue powder from the sky. This dramatic flair, as was witnessed in the reveal heightened the event’s excitement and aura of luxury.
On her Instagram page, she flaunted the luxury highlights of the home-field party — from being picked up in a limo, admiring the elegant outdoor décor, to sipping pricey champagne. Vera had revealed in bits from the fourth episode of RHONairobi that she wanted a boy and had the sense of giving birth to a baby boy. She even went shopping for boy clothes and won a KSh 150,000 bet on the baby’s gender against her husband.
“I’ve always thrown the best parties and my creativity makes me stand out,” she wrote in another post on Instagram. “My gender reveal party actually happened on December 14, 2022. Some celebs lowkey knew about it. Slide through to see the preparations; how I invited the guests, the helicopter, the lake view, also, hubby splashed money on me after I won the bet, KSh 150,000 (I bet for boy).”
The guests were treated to an extravagant feast at the reveal, as seen in the video, which included gourmet dishes prepared by a group of elite chefs and a premium liquor service available for the guests. We could also see Vera’s husband, Brown Mauzo keeping the entertainment going with his performance. The party which went late into the night had RHONairobi stars, such as Susan Kaittany and others in attendance, and it was clear from their facial expressions that they enjoyed the lavish gender reveal ceremony.
Although the events that followed the party were somewhat controversial between the RHONairobi star and her fellow Kenyan socialite, Amber Ray, causing bits of industry criticism for the two of them, the gender reveal party had a variety of lavish accents at every turn, making it a one-of-a-kind event for everyone who was in attendance.
Amidst the fallouts and callouts, Vera still manages to serve us a dose of style while maintaining real beauty via her Instagram photos. Check out her all-black look, which features a black button-down shirt, black leggings, and a pair of button-up booties as she poses up a storm in a Eurocopter.
The coordinated all-black ensemble shows just how solidly the classic color remains a mainstay for the “bad girl” style.
