Essence Festival of Culture also known as the “party with a purpose” is usually held annually in New Orleans to celebrate Black talents, as well as provide resources to Black communities in areas including health, wealth, civil engagement, and technology.
Among the many faces who attended the 2023 festival in the past few days is Juliet Ibrahim. While the event features musical performances of notable artists such as Megan Thee Stallion, Missy Elliott, Jagged Edge, Janelle Monáe, and a long list of others, Ibrahim was hosted by Film New Orleans in collaboration with That Good Media (a media production company based in Lagos), alongside other delegates of the movie industry from Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya.
Sharing the photos on Instagram, the actress beamed in good spirits as she posed on the red carpet with colleagues. She wore an off-the-shoulder, figure-skimming print dress featuring cropped sleeves and cleavage cut-out. Ibrahim paired the skin complimentary dress with a red bucket bag, block-heeled sandals, and star-shaped earrings that perfectly matched her white-framed sunglasses.

In the next slides, she is seen posing with colleagues, with one wearing a black polka dot dress and the other, wearing a mini kaftan dress with sneakers.
Juliet Ibrahim was also photographed wearing a red two-piece set paired with white slides to pose in front of the entrance to the Essence Film Festival. Other slides in the post include a photo of the actress and Joseph Sikora, an American actor best known for his starring role as Tommy Egan on the Starz series Power and its subsequent spin-offs and sequels, Power Book II: Ghost and Power Book IV: Force.

The 37-year-old beauty was also a panelist for Ghana Day at the Essence Festival 2023 and she was joined by other panelists including Esi Yamoah, Michael Djaba, Chris Attoh, Angela White, Anwar Jamison, with Vanessa Vanderpuye being the moderator. For the occasion, the star actress wore a vibrant tiered mini dress, white sneakers, and her gorgeous hairstyle: crochet passion twist.

Per the actress, the event was a conversation centered on movie production in Ghana and how to advance collaborative efforts to a more global scale.
This year has been a good one for Juliet Ibrahim. She’s been living her best life traveling from here and there, and while celebrating her 37th birthday in Mexico four months ago, the actress gave fans an insight into the exciting occasion.
“It’s been so much fun celebrating my birthday with family members and friends in Mexico.” the actress explained on Instagram. “We visited theme parks and had a swell time on zip lines, experiencing water activities and walking through caves. So many beautiful moments that I couldn’t even capture on phone. It’s been fun all the way,” she added.
